Beylerbeyi Palace — Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the official Beylerbeyi Palace website?
No — Beylerbeyi Palace is operated by Milli Saraylar (the Turkish Directorate of National Palaces), and its official site is millisaraylar.gov.tr. This site is an authorized point of sale: visits booked here are official Istanbul.com inventory sold by Cityberry Tourism Agency, a licensed TURSAB member (licence 11745), with skip-the-ticket-line entry and an audio guide included.
Is the visit guided?
It is audio-guided: your admission includes a multilingual audio guide, so you explore the state rooms, the harem section and the terraced gardens at your own pace — no fixed departure times and no group to keep up with. It works equally well solo or as a small group visiting together.
How long does a Beylerbeyi Palace visit take?
Most visitors spend 60–90 minutes inside the palace and another half hour in the terraced gardens and the waterfront pavilions. Paired with Kuzguncuk and a çay by the Bosphorus, it fills a very good half day on the Asian side.
When is Beylerbeyi Palace open?
The palace is open Tuesday to Sunday, roughly 09:00 to 18:00, and closed on Mondays. Last entry is before closing time — check the current schedule on the operator’s site before you travel, as national-palace hours can shift seasonally.
How do I get to Beylerbeyi Palace?
The palace sits on the Asian shore just south of the 15 July Martyrs (Bosphorus) Bridge. From Üsküdar it is a short bus or taxi ride along the coast road; ferries from Eminönü and Beşiktaş to Üsküdar make the crossing part of the experience. Marmaray to Üsküdar plus a coastal bus works in all weather.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before your visit. See our Refund & Cancellation policy for full details.
